Window Conversion Project

This beautiful Victorian property situated in the historic suburb of Williamstown was in real need of a major renovation. The transition from old to new has been expertly executed. Thus, it was renovated in a way that modernised the home immeasurably but also improved both the functionality and sustainability of the home.

The owners also wanted a totally new modern look and functionality to the kitchen area, with an increased sense of space, light, and connection to the backyard.

Smartech were approached to select an appropriate Smartech product for the kitchen area. This resulted in the selection of a Smartech Tilt Window. Therefore, the old-fashioned, dated windows were removed, and a beautiful Smartech Tilt Window was installed.  This Tilt Window really opens the space between the kitchen and the backyard, bringing in a sense of flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces of the property.

Smartech Tilt Windows open vertically to rest in line with the ceiling using a counterweight design system, which makes them less visible, and the operation is very easy. As they don’t have bottom tracks and open overhead it also adds much-needed bench space and a cleaner finish.
