At Smartech we use high-quality components throughout our products. Every component is carefully designed and chosen to ensure there is no compromise between performance and durability.
Finding high-quality, functional and architecturally designed window, door and wall solutions was the reason Smartech was founded. There was a gap in the Australian market for products that look good, work well and also last. Smartech have successfully filled this gap.
All our frames use aluminum extrusions and are powder coated additionally* to match the colour of the cladding or surrounding wall.
The frame usually comes in Mannex Black powder coat finish as standard, which is designed to cleverly hide surface defects and to provide an interesting tactile surface. Other colours or mill finish are available upon request. You can choose from a large range of colours e.g. to match the cladding you have chosen (for non-standard powder coat colours, additional charges apply).
Stainless steel fittings such as link arms, drive ramps, link arm pins, connectors, pulley saddle pins, hinges, circlips, washers and fasteners are used in all our products to provide longevity.
Durability and effortless operation of our doors, windows, walls, or louvres are assured with Smartech’s proprietary Balanced Weight System™. It is a perfectly counterweight balanced design, providing long-lasting and effortless operation of the doors, windows walls, or louvres. Most of the time they are motorised for convenience, but they can just as easily be operated manually. In comparison, traditional solutions like bi-fold doors often require a large amount of force to be stacked at the side of the door opening.
Counterweight garage doors also have far fewer working parts than the traditional spring balanced garage doors. This means that there’s much less that can go wrong.
