All Smartech products are manufactured at our quality, certified manufacturing facility in Truganina, Victoria (located 22 km west of Melbourne CBD).
The factory includes the production areas, research and development and a large, modern office space. We moved to this new state-of-the-art facility in 2019 to allow us to increase our production capacity and accommodate our growing team.
Our factory and office teams use the “lean production principles” to continuously improve our work processes and efficiency. This means that we have a “continuous improvement” mind set and will look to seek root causes of problems to find a long-term solution and improve processes.
Smartech are committed to delivering products that are designed in Australia, made by Australians for Australian conditions. Therefore we recently became the first company in Australia to meet the stringent Australian Standards (AS 2047 “Mandatory minimum specification by the Building Code Australia for windows and doors” and AS 4284 “Testing of building facades”) testing requirements for our Smartech tilt counterweight window system.
However, we also deliver our products to all other parts of the world and are proud that we’re increasingly getting more international recognition and enquiries from international architects and builders. We have been involved in projects in countries such as Singapore, U.A.E. and the USA.
By manufacturing in our own factory right here in Melbourne, Australia, we can ensure the high quality of each window, wall or door we send to our customers. This is very important to us, as we want to make sure that our clients are 100% satisfied with our products.
