Unveiling a new look and location, TGI Fridays has opened a store in Westfield Doncaster Shopping Centre. The relocation prompted an updated interior fit-out that remained true to the TGI Fridays retro atmosphere. Smartech was engaged by the restaurant to supply our stunning Folding Windows to enhance the interior and exterior flow of the store.

Aptly placed, Smartech’s Folding Windows were installed around the restaurant’s perimeter to provide an easy connection between the inside and outside dining areas. Some of the expansive windows reach the floor, creating walkways through the space for patrons and staff when opened.

Smartech’s motorised and manual operation windows open effortlessly, granting the ability to transform floorplans in an instant. Our designs encourage interaction with the environment and movement between spaces – this offers practical benefits for the hospitality industry where servery windows can be utilised and dining areas extended outside, all while maintaining a glorious outlook through glazed glass no matter the weather.

Smartech’s Folding Windows can be customised to deliver the ideal atmosphere to any space. Taking cues from the classic feel of old-school diners, the restaurant’s design showcases traditional materiality with a mix of modern features. Finished in timeless black, our Folding Windows complete the look of the façade, adding an industrial quality with bold square framing. We offer a range of powder coating colours, and glazing options and can accommodate cladding choices to suit any palette.
