Grange Surf Club

Smartech Door Systems was engaged by GHD Woodhead Adelaide to craft the perfect solution for the Grange Surf Club, SA. GHD’s vision was to take on a design that would be different, allowing a glass façade to be tilted open. Careful considerations were made to create a fixed balustrade window and feature the innovative Flush Finish Façade Tilt Window.

The three installed Flush Finish Facade Tilt Windows have stainless steel patch fittings to match the rest of the building, which allows the building to look uniform, like a boxed glasshouse. Smartech Door Systems is proud of the intricate detailing that allowed the stunning final look of this unique building at the beach.

Smartech Door Systems took the seaside environment into consideration in the design and worked with the architects and designers from around the country to achieve this spectacular outcome for the client. The Grange Surf Club now features unimpeded views that the club members can enjoy at the push of a button, thanks to the motorised operation. Additionally, our windows are designed with corrosive environments in mind, making them the ideal choice for both coastal and pool areas.

Smartech Flush Finish Tilt Windows ensure maximum access and ventilation. Additionally, they can take cladding weights up to 400kgs, meaning they can be clad to match any building facade. Our expert team will collaborate with you to increase the potential of your setting.
