Grill’d Burgers is an Australian food chain which people flock to for its quality food and great ambience. Their iconic brand designers chose our Folding Window as it married with their design brief, offering an open, industrial aesthetic, solidly crafted for a commercial setting.

New directions in design, favour open-plan spaces and visibility on a level not seen since the avant-garde architects of the 1960s. With floor-to-ceiling hinge doors and glass windows high on the domestic design agenda, it is only natural that these design styles would find their way into a commercial setting.

Smartech intrinsically understands this and their Zero-Line Folding Window is designed to fold inside, away from the boundary line and right up to the ceiling. This creates an absolute open feel and also ensures there’ll be no issues with the council!

Anthony Cassar began Smartech Door Systems with the intention of crafting a beautiful, quality-driven product that would create a continuous flow from inside to out.
