Heritage-style Tilt Garage Door

When you need something customised that matches the existing style of a home perfectly, such as a garage door, Smartech are here to help. In the case of this beautiful home in East Melbourne, we were tasked to create a heritage-style Tilt Garage Door. The client had an existing glass roof on top of the garage and wanted the garage door to blend in with the traditional architecture of the rest of the home.

The matt black colour fits perfectly with the house colour scheme and the pillars on either side of the garage entrance add to the overall impression of authenticity and harmony. You can only tell from the inside that the garage door is actually a modern product.

As an additional side project, Smartech were also asked to create a privacy screen at the side of the house in order to hide away some home appliances. Of course, we also gladly took care of this task and designed the privacy screen in a cream-white colour to match the weatherboard façade of the home.

Smartech Tilt Garage Doors are designed with a counterweight mechanism, which allows the garage door frame to carry cladding weights of up to 400 kg. This gives you almost unlimited design options. You can even use hardwood as a cladding material!
