Darwin Mazda

Kerry’s Automotive Group, one of the largest automotive groups in Darwin required a new site for its Mazda dealership. Hence they purchased 2100 m² of prime land in Berrimah along the Stuart Highway.

In order to maximise the potential of the site’s expansive frontage, Smartech were selected to design, manufacture and supply multiple double-glazed Folding Doors with thermal break for the showroom. Double glazing with thermal break provides additional energy efficiency and reduces external noise levels. A fitting choice for the site, Smartech’s folding doors allow a clear view of the showroom and cars – even while closed – and also provide easy access for cars entering and exiting.

There were multiple areas to this build, each with different requirements. The brand-new Mazda Dealership features a state-of-the-art showroom, a service centre, and over 1200 m² of indoor and outdoor space with modern office facilities and comfortable customer spaces. Smartech achieved a stylish finish by employing a matte black frame to seamlessly integrate with the overall building design and colour scheme.
