Pure South Restaurant

Pure South is an award-winning restaurant on the river promenade of Southbank in Melbourne. The owners of the restaurant had an opportunity to occupy the level above the original restaurant. This resulted in a complete re-design and fit out of both levels of the building.

Smartech were engaged to contribute to this award-winning project with the design, manufacture and installation of ten folding windows. The folding windows open the entire front of the restaurant, thereby creating a sense of flow between indoor and outdoor spaces of the restaurant. The folding windows also provide unimpeded views of the beautiful Melbourne skyline and the Yarra river.

Hedger Constructions were the commercial builder who completed this project and subsequently won the “2017 Award – Excellence in Commercial Fit-out, Masters Builders Association of Victoria”.
